Christopher Vargas

We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of our beloved brother, son, and father, Christopher Michael Vargas, on May 21, 2025. Chris was known for his big heart, infectious smile, and outgoing personality. He never met a stranger—people just naturally loved him. No matter what life threw his way, he always found a way to make others laugh or feel seen.

Chris faced many challenges in life, but he never let them define who he was. His greatest joy was being a father to Charity Leeann Marcum and Christopher Blake Vargas. His love for his kids was endless and unwavering.

He is survived by his father, Richard Vargas Sr., and his brothers: Charles Wright, Richard Vargas Jr., and Matthew Vargas. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Pamela Vargas, who we believe greeted him with open arms.

Chris’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, laughed with him, and loved him. He was deeply loved—and even if you didn’t always agree with him, you couldn’t help but love him. His presence, his spirit, and his love for people will never be forgotten.
