Charles Roy Hudson Sr.

Charles Roy Hudson Sr, 82, of Fort Worth, Texas, entered God’s Kingdom on Wednesday July 17, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fort Worth on March 7, 1942 to Charles Hudson and Odline Etheridge. Charles proudly served as a military police officer. He enjoyed special time with his wife and family the most. Charles was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was known for his hard work ethic, kind heart and the ability to make anyone love him, the moment they meet him. He had the biggest and most caring heart, to know him was to love him, unconditionally. Charles will be deeply missed by his family and friends who remember him fondly for always being the most strong-willed, driven, loving husband, father and papa.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hudson and Odline Etheridge; brother, Donald Hudson; Grandson, Cameron Hudson, Hazel and Bill Tyler.

Charles is survived by, his loving wife, Darlene Hudson of 59 years; children, Brenda and Larry Jack, Charles (Bubba) and Susan Hudson, Billy and Eva Hudson, Pamela and Keith Self, Dorothy and Ben Gallegos; grandchildren, Matthew and Mallory Jack, Jeremy (Jay) Jack, Cameron and Heath Spurling, Chelsea Hargiss, Chad Hargiss, Dawson and Tiffany Hudson, Morgan and Philip Adcock, Blakeley Hudson, Andrea (Dre) Morales, Jessie and Klarissa Morales, Lizzie Hudson, Bryah and Cody Gentry, Kaylee Self, Ryleigh Self, Anden Gallegos, Austin Gallegos, Alex Gallegos; great-grandkids, Elizabeth, Jessalynn, Kyleigh, Juni, Alaya, Haze, Cash, Julian, Cali, Caylee, Jaxon; and other close family and friends who loved him dearly.
