Carson "Glen" Whitworth was born June 19, 1950, to W.T. and Minnie Violet (Shelton) Whitworth in Decatur, Texas. Carson was 72 years old when he passed peacefully on January 1, 2023.
Carson served in the US. Army during the Vietnam War. Then married Linda Kay Bills on February 21, 1972. He worked as a commercial door hanger for Charles F. Williams and worked there until his retirement. Carson enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Carson is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Whitworth; parents, W.T. and Minnie Whitworth; sisters, Paula Whitworth and Deborah Sansing; brother, Wayne Whitworth.
Carson is survived by daughters, Jessica Zbytovsky and husband, Michael of Rhome, and Tina Fisher of Gladewater; grandchildren, Destiny Whitworth of Rhome and Brayden Fisher of Horseshoe Bend; brothers, Robert Whitworth, Martin Whitworth, and Tim Whitworth; sisters, Elaine Deibler, Cindy Anderson, Nina Lippe, and Teresa Monahan; and a host of beloved nephews and nieces.
Carson will be laid to rest with his wife.
