Carolyn Louise Kilman

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mama, Carolyn, who peacefully left this world into the loving arms of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 11, 2026, at the age of 84. 

Carolyn was born on August 2, 1942, in Mineral Wells, TX to JC and Lillie Brewer. She was the oldest of six children. Mama's life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and warmth who touched the lives of all who knew her. She dedicated many years of her life working and eventually retiring from JC Penney where she was known for her exceptional work ethic. In her leisure time she ran a booth at Miss B's and volunteered her time and energy whenever needed. 

She is survived by her loving family that holds her memory dear including her brother Joe Brewer, sister Bonnie Bass and husband Norman, and brother Danny Brewer. Her legacy lives through her daughter Gina Cook and husband Nick, and her son Don Kilman and bonus son Chad Cook. She was a proud Grandmother to James Adkins, Amy Collier, Jeremy Cook and wife Jennifer, Amanda Burkhaulter and Don Meisner, Kevin King and wife Mindy, and Haley Kilman. Mama was also blessed with 12 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews all of which she adored. She was preceded in death by her parents JC and Lille Brewer, sister Linda Brewer, brother Johnny Brewer, and her beloved granddaughter Kaitlyn Kilman. 

Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside memorial service to celebrate Mama's life on August 29, 2026, at 10:00 am at Dobbs Valley Cemetery. 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Beyond Faith Hospice for their unwavering support and care during Mama's final days. Her loving and giving spirit will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
