Brenda Robbins Obituary

Brenda Carol McGhee, 70, of Azle, Texas earned her angels wings on January 31, 2020. She was cared for at home until she decided to go to her glorious reunion in heaven. She passed at home, surrounded by the love of her life, her children and grandchildren. She was born in Knox City, Texas but was raised in Rochester, Texas. She was born to Novalee Kinney and Leeroy McGhee on June 6, 1949.

Brenda worked most of her life as a waitress.  She has always loved being around people. She got married at the young age of 14 to Richard Holden and had 4 children. She raised all 4 children on her own and raised many children that were not her own that still to this day call her mom. It was her sweet nature to care for people and always make everyone feel comfortable and loved. She had such a big kind heart and her door was always open to those that needed it. She later divorced and married Harvey Robbins, until his passing in 2007. She then met Farnham Nadin and lived the remainder of her life with the love of her life. She was always a crafty person and making all kinds of beautiful things, such as dream catchers. She loved collecting dolls, angels of all kinds, and cute little knick knacks.

The day she went to Heaven for that grand reunion, she left behind her love, Farnham Nadin, 4 children and a couple of “adopted” additions. Cammie Holden of Dallas, TX, Rickie Bowen of Lawton, OK, Franklin Holden of Austin, TX, Wendi and husband, Heath Glass of Boyd, TX and Tammy Sappenfield of Abilene, TX. Along side of those, she left 11 Grandchildren; Jacob Stevens, Joshua Stevens, Kimberly Gober, Allen Robbins, Colby Wright, Ashley Wright, CJ Sappenfield, Brenda Holden, Dakota Smith, Dante Holden, and Destiny Otparlik. She leaves behind 16, soon to be 18, amazing Great Grandchildren that she will leave her legacy upon. She will be missed dearly and will never be forgotten. If we are half of the amazing person she was, then we are doing something right. She taught us many things in life but the greatest thing she taught us was to love unconditionally. She was, and still is, the most amazing woman we have ever known. She was undoubtedly a blessing in everyone’s life.  She touched all those that she came in contact with. Go fly high, Momma.  This is not "goodbye," but instead, "until we see you again."
