Aurora Elizabeth Rodriguez Soto

Aurora (Rory) Elizabeth Rodriguez-Soto passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. Rory was born October 9, 1973, in Austin, Texas.

There will be an informal viewing of Rory on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 12pm to 2pm at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations, 8808 Camp Bowie W Blvd Ste 170, Fort Worth, Texas 76116.

Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11:30AM at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 2414 Hitson Ln, Fort Worth, Texas. 

Aurora Rodriguez-Soto was a mother, a sister, an aunt, and a friend to anyone who needed her. She always allowed those who needed a home to find shelter there. Rory had a wandering spirit that allowed her to see the beauty of the world in a new way. Though she was not perfect, Rory was a kind soul. Having grown up the middle sister of three, Sandra, Rory, and Maria (Missy) had an unbreaking bond that will continue to strengthen even through death. The power of three. Rory loved everyone she met and will continue to show her love through the many people she touched. For what is grief, if not love persevering. 

Rory is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Esther Vargas; her father, Eliseo Rangel Rodriguez; and her sister, Maria Adelina Rodriguez. 

Rory is survived by her husband, Jose Soto; her children, Jonathan, Julian, Gabrielle, Joseph, Elisia, and Emilia; her son-in-laws, Emilio Coronado, Edgar Santillanes, and Joshua Flores; her daughter-in-law, Jessiy Alvarez; her grandchildren, Sergio Soto and Bella Rodriguez; her sister, Sandra Rodriguez; her brother, Alex Torres and wife, Jennifer Torres; her nieces, Ariel, Alyssa, Adelina, Adriana, and Annalise; and nephews, Ricardo Sr, Manuel Jr, and Ricardo Jr.; as well and an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
