Antonius Kruit
Obituary
Anton Kruit passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2023, after fighting a battle with kidney cancer. He was 70. He was born December 31, 1952 in Rotterdam, Netherlands and moved to the USA in 2001. Many will remember him as “the Dutchman” and how he loved to play Texas Hold’em poker.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cornelia Wijtenburg and Jan Kruit Sr. and his brother, Jan Kruit.
He is survived by his brother, Cornelis Kruit; his son, Maurice Kruit; his partner, Janine Kruit; his daughter, Erin Smith; his son, Jason Pollard; and his grandchildren, Cameron Nieblas and Caleb Humphrey.
