Antonio Martinez

Antonio Martinez was born on July 12, 1938 and went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2020.

Visitation services will begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 9th at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations, Fort Worth, TX.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9th at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations. Interment at the DFW National Cemetery.

Antonio was born in San Antonio, Texas and was an Air Force Veteran.  He lived a long and joyful 82 years.  He was the first born child to his parents, Dionicio and Emma Martinez.  Antonio touched so many hearts with his amazing personality and a smile as big as the moon.  His favorite place to eat was at Chuck E. Cheese for the salad buffet, but always with a fedora hat on.  Fedora hats played a major role in his life.  Everywhere he went, you would always see him with a fedora on.

He is survived by his 5 children, Miguel Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Martha Martinez, Anna Rosales, and Emma Martinez (all children from Mexicali, Baja California); siblings, Michael, Edward, Steven Carranza, and Maria Noriega; 16 grandkids; 10 great-grandkids; and many more family and friends.

Antonio is preceded in death by his parents, Dionicio and Emma Martinez; and Martinez siblings, Robert, Armando, Joseph, Juan, Ester Martinez, Johnny, Pablo, Joe, Richard, and Esteban Caranza.
