Amelia Flores Oliva Obituary

Amelia Flores, of Fort Worth, has joined our father on March 26, 2021. Amelia was born on October 15, 1977 in Brownsville, Texas.

There will be a Visitation Service on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 12:30 - 2:30 PM at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations, 8808 Camp Bowie W, Fort Worth, Texas.

Amelia was a strong woman.  She loved, she cared, and she was a hero to her sisters. She married her husband in 2016, and they shared many memories together with family and friends. One quote that explains Amelia’s life would be, “There is no need to have it all, just make the best of what YOU HAVE.” Amelia loved to cook and made the best Pozole in town, said by her nieces. She loved dancing, going to the beach to catch some sun, and enjoyed the wind blowing in her hair as she gazed at the mystery of the ocean. She said it brought peace to her, and she would always feel thankful for what the lord gave her. Amelia…Amelia was our rock, our protector, our sister, our mother figure, the love of our lives, and the person who lightens up the room with her laughter and her food.

Amelia is survived by her husband, Juan Flores Oliva; sisters, Tammy Bradshaw, Stacy Bradshaw, and Pamela Bradshaw.  Amelia had several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
