Stephen Bradford Trepess

On Friday, October 11, 2019, Stephen Bradford Trepess, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 84 in Fort Worth, TX.

Stephen was born on March 27, 1935 in Glen Cove, NY to George and Ruth Trepess.  He lived in New York for 65 years and always considered it home.  Stephen graduated from Sea Cliff High School in 1954, served in the US Navy aboard the USS Cone DD-886 from 1954-1958 and followed his service working for the Long Island Lighting Company for 42 years.  On March 23,1962, Stephen married Mary Anne (née Walsh). They raised two sons, Todd and Rodney, and two daughters, Gaye and Stephenie.  He was affectionately known as "Poppy" to his five grandchildren, Kelly, Caitlyn, Anton, Kyra, and Devon.

Stephen was a life long New York Yankees fan, an avid golfer and shared his love of sports with all his children.  He possessed a creative streak, enjoying music, singing and photography.  He loved cars and caring for them, especially the Supra!  Stephen was known for his funny, warm and gentle spirit and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
