Mary Ann Vocke

Mary Ann Vocke, 74, of Springtown, TX passed away peacefully Monday, December 16, 2019 in Fort Worth, TX.  She was born February 23, 1945, in McKeesport, PA and was the oldest daughter of the late Rudolph “Rudy” and Margaret Wilson Munas, wife of the late Gary J. Vocke and sister of the late Lois J. Munas.

Mary Ann was a 1963 graduate of McKeesport High School and relocated with her husband to Arizona in 1969, where she resided until 2009. She was employed as an instructional assistant at Laird Elementary School in Tempe, AZ and then retired as a convenience store manager with the Circle K Corporation. Mary Ann loved her family dearly and enjoyed board games, cards, crossword puzzles and word searches. She also enjoyed shopping, celebrating holidays, cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, feeding the neighborhood cats and birds, and listening to music. She always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. There is no visitation. Services are private.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Jason) Brouhard, of Springtown, TX, and son, Gary T. Vocke, of Charleston, SC; sisters LaRue Liptak, of McKeesport, PA and Margaret Munas, of White Oak, PA; niece, Rhonda Liptak, and nephews, Ron (Krissie) Liptak and Mark Munas; grandchildren, Andrew (Lexi) Brouhard, Lauren Brouhard, Katherine Vocke, Justin Vocke, Calli Vocke and Kolby Vocke; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
